Every year I spend a ton of money on Candles for my home. I usually insist on having a few in the living room, some on the dining room table and a ton in the bathroom. I have to admit. I’m Obsessed with candles! The problem is finding ones that are not only aesthetically pleasing but ones that smell wonderful too.
I’ve decided to invest in soy candles for my home this year. I found out they not only smell wonderful and last longer, they are eco-friendly too. Soy candles are made from a completely renewable resource, unlike normal paraffin candles. Soy wax is also non-toxic and burns cleaner then paraffin wax, which is what most candles are made out of. It has no petrol-carbon soot, which is what blackens walls, ceilings and furniture and it also doesn’t ad any toxic carcinogens into the air you breathe.
Soy candles also burn slower and cooler, which makes the candle, last longer. Another major benefit of Soy candles is that they are made from Soybean which is a renewable resource. Since Soy wax is made from the soy bean it is biodegradable it also happens to be easier to remove from surfaces then typical paraffin wax. One more amazing benefit of buying soy candles: You are helping the economy! Buying soybean products creates important economic grown for the agricultural sector of the US economy.
