Finding Stylish Chemo Hats | chemo hats

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

I know of a fantastic site for lovely stylish chemo hats that make you feel very feminine and positive instead of a bald ugly woman. Do not worry about chemotherapy hats or where you can find one anymore.

Stop considering a wig or anything else like that. Just like other people, you never thought hats and chemotherapy might work together. A it does not matter if you already been on chemotherapy or about to start chemotherapy, you will want a hat or something that will allow you to feel normal and not something that people will stare at people.

You can still go to that wig fitting if you have not already. The choice is yours whether it be hats or wigs. One thing is for sure, you want something that is going to make you look good and feel good about yourself. Cancer bandannas are fine for picnic or family outing. However, you would not want to wear them to the movies or out to dinner with your husband.

You can find cancer head coverings almost anywhere today. Yet, you want that perfect cancer hat that will make you feel feminine again. You need to go to the BeauBeau! Susan M. Beausang has the hat for you! Her cancer hats will make you feel sexy again!

Who Created the BeauBeau™?

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

The BeauBeau™ Scarves are designed specifically for women and girls with medical hair loss. When most people think of medical hair loss they think of cancer and chemotherapy. But the BeauBeau™ is more than a cancer hat or chemo hat and much more than just a cancer head covering.

Susan Beausang created the BeauBeau to enjoy life to the fullest after she was diagnosed with a severe case of alopecia aerates. Alopecia aerates is a hair-loss disease where the body’s immune system begins attacking hair follicles. It comes on suddenly and is traumatizing. To make things worse she was soon diagnosed with Alopecia Universalis, the most extreme form of Alopecia, in which all hair on the body is lost.

Not liking the way wigs looked and felt on her balding head and not being able to find attractive and comfortable scarves, she figured that there were none to be found. This conclusion led her to design her own. Thus, the BeauBeau scarf materialized. The fabric comes together in a looped elastic band, with the remainder of the scarf hanging loose like a ponytail. This gives the wearer the feeling of having hair, without having to endure the constant aggravation of keeping the scarf from coming untied. And the scarves are available in countless designs and with many choices of fabric.

Now you can purchase the scarves at boutiques across the country and 2 years ago Beausang began selling her products online. Beausang’s online sales account for 50% of the business. The company has even expanded to include a children’s line of “headwarmers” and sports scarves.

Now, Beausang feels good knowing that her creations are helping other women feel more attractive with how they look. So thank you Susan Beausang for creating the BeauBeau!
